Now where on earth did that come from?

That sort of thing is a result of having sounds on in the background while you are concentrating on other things. It never happens to me because I have a nasty habit of being mindful of what is going on at all times, and do work that requires concentration in silence. If a song runs through my head I can generally trace back to where it came from....like the "Got no fleas on me commercial" on TV, lol. I'm not a dog person, but that is one cute puppy!

Yeah, that happened to me a lot of times as well! Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I sometimes think that my soul mate was hearing or singing that song at that time thats why it just popped out in my head. . I still believe that now..lol

Oh, now you've got that song in my head too, only it's not by the Spinners, it's the original by Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons. Ever heard of them? What's really funny is when my husband walks around the house singing obscene songs, that get stuck in my head. I have to make sure not to walk down the street singing... Well it's 40 below, got a heater in my truck and I don't give a ______, cause I'm off to the rodeo (think of an obscene song that rhymes with truck) haha Oh man, now I've got THAT song in my head!!!!! AARRGGHH. I hope I get it out by Christmas day when I see the little ones. Wouldn't want to be singing it infront of them.

It happens to me all of the time, especially with television commercials. My wife is much worse about "ear worms" as they are called. I can hum something nonsensical and get it to stick in her head for days.
