winter in Canada - stuck in the snow
before you start the engine.

It's winter time in Canada The gentle breezes blow, Seventy miles an hour At thirty-five below. Oh, how I love Canada When the snow's up to your butt. You take a breath of winter, And your nose gets frozen shut. Yes, the weather here is wonderful, So I guess I'll hang around. I could never leave Canada I'm froze, to the friggin' ground!

Very funny. I live in Southern California now so we don't get that thirty-five below and snow up to your butt stuff but I'm originally from Ohio and I can so relate.

I feel for those who have never lost their car in their own driveway. Its a real thrill to have to find it first, before shoveling it out.

Yes its winter time with winter storms, and we have lots of snow in Canada. The 70 miles an hour is wind speed, not the cars speed. 70 miles an hour would be very fast on a snow covered road!

That was excellent. I drove home from my Dad's today....a journey of over hours. It was 6 degrees Celsius...over 90 degrees Farenheit.

Hello barehug. Thank you so much for sharing with us the Winter Poem. I appreciate it. Winter here in Anji County is nice and cold when big wind blows, but once the sun is out there with no wind, it is nice and warm to be in the sun. Stay warm, friend.

Hi Barehugs, I thought you might be writing something about global warming lol. You must live on the prairies where they have the big freeze right now. Here in the east we have a snowstorm with winds up to 100 km. It looks like the snow is about over but the winds are still howling. Go Canada Go. Blessings.

I'm wishing those "global warming" prophets were all living on the prairies, and preferably in an igloo. A few days of being froze to the friggin ground might provide some much needed enlightenment! Stay Warm!
