I don't know if it's too much or they're just being nice, Sometimes my parents were just fine when it comes to giving gifts to my kids, but there were times that they give almost everything my daughter asks. I don't know exactly when to stop them or when to agree with them.

Well this is a good question because I want to know the same thing. My mother is the same way with my daughter. I do not know if it is because she is the only grandchild she has (I am an only child also but every time we go into a store she just have to buy my daughter something. I have told her many times to stop doing that but she keeps right on so, I do not know what to tell you because I am going through the same thing.

well let me say, that sound like mom used to be with all the grand kids, and she used to tell me, that is what a grand parnets do, spoil the kids and then send them home.
so i used to get upset too, but now since i have grand kids, i can;t wait until they are older. pay back is going to be so sweet.
let your parnets spoil them, it's their job. but there should be a limit on it. but when you become a grnad parnet you will do the samething. my wife always remind no we dont need a swing set for the boys, they are still babies. lol.
