What kind of articles do you love to write? Do you feel that others are reading what you wrote. Do you get feedbacks from your readers?

I write a lot of different articles all over the web. I tend to stick with subjects I know a lot about and have a passion for. This means that most of my articles fall into a few categories with only a few straying outside those categories. My favorite categories are writing, pregnancy and parenting, homemaking and cooking, and crafts. Of course sometimes I stray outside of those categories, but many of my articles fall into those categories. I think that I do a fair job writing and have a fair amount of traffic. For the most part I get a lot of responses and feedback on certain articles while receiving nothing on others. It is interesting, but doesn't discourage me since I rarely comment on articles I read online. The real important part to me is that I am making money from my writing.

I like to write about subjects I am comfortable with: films, France, animals and their rights, the UK benefits system, computers and so on. basically anything where I feel I may actually know something useful as opposed to having to go off and research everything first. It comes down to enjoying writing from the heart, rather than as a piece of 'work', if you see what I mean. I've been lucky in that I've had some feedback on both Helium and AC. The former has only been a couple of comments, the latter quite a few. The AC forum people are really nice and helpful with constructive criticism and pointers in style and so on. Thankfully, I've not had anyone harangue me for being crap yet! Hehe!

There are two types of article that I like to write. I enjoy the challenge of writing assignments for publishers. As I am doing the research for these articles, I always learn something I did not know before, and then I can write about it in an informative or instructional article. I have sold several assignments to publishers on topics I previously knew nothing about. The other article I enjoy writing are based on my own knowledge and experience. I like to share what I know from experience, or that I have discovered about life. If a publisher accepts and pays for my article, I know I have written it well. I also get positive feedback from writing sites, and on my blogs, about some of my articles.

I find it easier for me to write about things that I enjoy. Like writing about books, art, theater, and such. Art, basically. That's what I love to write about. I find it comes easily to write about those subjects, more than something that I'm totally uninterested in, which is probably the case for a lot of writers.

I like to review things. Musical theatre, music and books are my passions so I enjoy writing reviews of them.

I have written articles on all sorts of things. From travel to rescued greyhounds. I enjoy doing research so I will write about anything. As well as articles I have thought about writing I like to answer requests for articles. That is where the research comes in.
