HI all! I just wanna share this with you because I am concerned about your health. The holiday festivities sure lead us into a lot buffet spreads. Here in the Philippines, it seems that everyday from the second week of December until the end of the month, we get invitations either for lunch or dinner parties.
And most of the time, the food served is oily and salty and not very healthy for all of us. Although we think that we yeah, we only do this once a year, this partying and bingeing does a lot of damage to our systems (kidneys, liver, colon, heart). So I am recommending this detox diet for all of you.
Well, it is not really going to mean that we are going to skip a meal or avoid the unhealthy but really delicious food during the holidays, but we do can minimize their ill effects on our bodies and health.
So after a day of eating and drinking, I suggest taking this concoction the following morning before taking any breakfast. This is a good way to cleanse the colon, liver, and kidneys and rid the body of toxins from food.
1 medium sized carrot
1 medium sized cucumber
1/2 lemon
1 Tbsp. honey - optional
Put the vegetables in a blender and process. Pour on a glass and squeeze the juice of half a lemon. Add honey for flavor.
You may opt to use the juicer and drink only the juice. But the fiber is good for sweeping the colon, so please do take it with the rest. Guaranteed for immediate bowel movement and also good for those with allergies.
But that doesn't mean that because of this detox diet, we can all go unmoderated in our food intake. Moderation is still the best key to good health. It doesn't mean that we don't enjoy, we just take things moderately.
Have a Merry Christmas to you all without health complications!

There are somthing similar in China.
The spring festival is the most important festival in China and it is a symbol of the end of a year. We have a public holiday for 7 days. In these days we stay with our family or visit our friends, relatives and teachers. Every visit means a party in which we'll have heavy foods and much drink. Some are harmful to our health. Though more and more people know the harm of this eating habit they still can not leave it. It's difficult to quit a habit. But these years many experts began to appeal to have a healthy festival. I think there will be many people participant in this suggestion.
