Well if they're really careful in what they say, maybe they would say "oh my goodness"??

lol that's a really good question! they would probaly say the same thing since now a days it's just a saying and has no meaning behind it anymore!

i think they would say the same thing these days. bcuz most the time when someone says that it has no meaning to it, it's just a saying.
