who all are going on holidays and baking cake for christmas?

how many of you are going on holidays and enjoying with your family and every near and dear ones? because its christmas time will you be baking cake on your own or will you order? what type or flavour do you like the most, my favourite is chocolate or to be presised black forest.

Baking my kids favorite, 3 layer fall down cake. It's a really soft chocolate cake layered with as much cream as possible, the only problem is that after a few minuets the top layer starts to slide off, still it gets eaten. Also doing a trifle and baking loads of other cookies. No money to order a cake this year and the kids seem to prefer my own made!

we're staying home for the holidays. But, tomorrow i'm serving a huge Christmas dinner for my husband's parents. i will be serving roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, brussels sprouts au gratin, gelatin ambrosia salad, dinner rolls, Christmas wreath bread, strawberry punch.
for dessert, i'm baking a red velvet cake. i take a white cake mix and add a couple of bottles of red food coloring to the batter before baking it. then once the cake is baked, it is a nice red color.
