I don't know whether this is a good discussion or not but I hope that I won't receive any negative ratings for having created this discussion. Anyway, I know that there is some kind of stigma attached to gambling, this is probably justified as you can get yourself into serious problems if you are not careful. I'm going to admit that I love to have a gamble here and a gamble there. I am currently a member of one particular site www.supercasino.com and I like to play there from time to time. As a matter of fact I only check in with this site on a monthly basis, I perhaps play once per month. I realise that this may be a very controversial subject for many people and I am interested in your views only, don't give me any negative ratings please!!! Anyway, I stick to one game on there and one game only and that is Black Jack. I only play what I can afford each month and if I lose then I lose, that is that, I won't return until the following month. If you are going to take part in this then I suppose you need to think about it seriously beforehand, I did this. I treat it as a bit of fun, some enjoyment and nothing else. When you lose, it's painful but that's life; when you win, it's wonderful. Any winnings I make I cash them immediately so they are safe and then I call it quits. Anyway, do you game online or participate in any form of gambling? One thing I'm not saying and I will emphasise this point, I'm not saying that just because I do it then you should do it!! I don't want to have that responsibility! Anyway, I thought that this might prove to be an interesting discussion. Happy xmas. Andrew

I gamble offline and I use to gamble online until the president made it illegal for me to do so. I am a pattern person, I love to find the patterns and slot machines, the fall of cards is a great way to keep my mind occupied. I never gamble with money that I can't afford to lose.

That's great! It sounds like you also have a good game plan for yourself. I only ever stick to black jack now, I really love this game. I used to play the slot machines once upon a time but I guess I have found my niche when it comes to the gambling world! Andrew

I'm not sure about that one but you can check them out. I live in London and their live studios are in London. The reason I like this particular site is the fact that you have a live presenter and you see him/her via live video streaming. I'm sure that they do take International clients as all you really need is an Internet connection. Good luck! Andrew P.S. I'm not encouraging you to join or anything! Andrew

Hi Andrew, I gamble online from time to time but only at pokerstars.net.
I am old enough to make own decisions (like you) so if you having fun doing it and you are not getting addicted (which includes losing enormous amount of money) than why not? It is just to waste some time and relax. But like you said - if both of us do it than everybody else should do the same thing
Take care

Hi lucas, that's great it sounds like you have achieved a balance in relation to gambling. I have heard about that site. I think the safest thing for me to do is to stick with the site that I'm a member with and I'm not going to experiment elsewhere. Happy xmas. Andrew

Howdy.
I don't 'gamble' per se, I do however play online Poker for real money. That's a mix of skill and chance, and on the long run the good players win and the weaker players lose.
There is a stigma attached to gambling, and for good reason. Too bad that extends to Poker as well, which is no longer pure chance with the odds against you. I was talking to my mother about what I do (with my own money, I have a job of course) and got the most horrible look ever, like that;s totally something disgusting to do, and how could I waste my time with that.
I bet if I bought her a Plasma TV with some Poker winnings she'd sing a different song :D
Blackjack is ok to play I think, the House edge is not that big and there is skill involved. I think Gambling in general, if studied, with the maths, statistics and probability behind it, can teach you a lot of things about life, so it is something to look into, at least for some people.
Best of luck at the Blackjack table :D

Hi, thanks for your thoughts on this. Poker is quite popular nowadays and the poker shows on tv are huge hits. Anyway, like I said, I like to dip my feet in the water from time to time! Andrew

online gaming for sure, as gambling i find very unethical and a far as money is concerned making money from gaming is pretty easy too as with the games life "SECOND LIFE" AND "WORLD OF WAR CRAFT" YOU can redeem your points in the game for USD into your bank account instantly.

Hi, yes, that's a perfectly valid point. There is a saying that it's probably best not to begin in the first place. I'm sure there are going to be many different views on this subject. Andrew
