Ollie's stocking is done!

Many years ago I made all my neices and nephews Christmas stockings. They went over very well! So well in fact that I'm now making them for my nephews kids! Ollie was born in July and I've been asking my sister what color stocking he needs. I make 2 shades of red and I lose track of who's got what colors. Well, tonight, December 23rd, I get a call from my sister telling me that she needs the lighter colored stocking for Ollie. And, um, yeah, she wants it tonight! Fortunately, over the summer I was bored and made up a few of each shade. Only problem was, I found out tonight that the reason I didn't finish them was because I had run out of white yarn. I did find some white yarn and finished making this stocking for Ollie. Now Santa can come visit him!!!! Well, I have to run over to my sister's tomorrow and drop it off for her to hang up, but that wont be a problem :)

I'm the "crafty" one so they all love it when I go on a crocheting binge!!! Many many years ago I made blankets for my brothers and sisters, then when the neices/nephews came along I made them all blankets. Now I'll have to make blankets for the grand-nephews in a few years. Oh, I just remembered about the pillows, I have to make them pillows too!! I better get busy!!!

Glad you were able to find the white yarn to finish off Ollie's Christmas stocking. Bet he appreciated you getting it finished in a NICK of time so Saint NICK or Santa could visit.

My sister appreciated it more than anything. All the stockings stay with her and she likes everyone being represented, even if they're just 7 months old!

reiny I am in the middle of knitting a baby bunting for a friends baby and then I have a gift to make for another friend's baby so once I am done with that I want to start making Christmas decorations to give to friends next year. I have a whole bunch of little frames for needle point or cross stitch and patterns to make needle point Christmas decorations.
Can you send me your pattern for the stocking so I can make some up for next Christmas for friend's babies? You can PM me and I can give you my private email.

Thank you! I was actually making them to sell at craft fairs this year, but I didn't quite get them all done. Maybe by next year???
