Hello, I am a 22 year old mother of two and have been trying to get pregnant for one year 8 months and ten days. I miscarried in August of 07 and again in December of 07. I have seen my doctor and a specialist, I have had many tests that all came back fine. I thought I was pregnant until today! My periods are usually 30 to 32 days apart but in October it started on the 17, November 18 and now Dec 23. The specialist said I could go through a series of shots and things to help support the eggs and help to fertilize and I would then be able to be pregnant by the next month but it is so expensive and I really want it to be all natural. But how do I know when I should obvulate without buying all of those obvulation tests that are kinda hard to read or without buying the thermometer that says you will have to chart for a few months in order to tell when you are obvulating? Please help me if you can!

The ONLY way to really know that you are ovulating is to chart your basal body temp. And that will only tell you after the fact. Basal thermometers are not really expensive. I picked mine up at Wal Mart. I agree with using fertilityfriend.com. The basic charting is actually free - not just for 30 days. For the first 30 days you get a 'premium' account for free. If you choose not to pay after that, you still get your basic chart and that is all you really need. There is also a free online charting course that they offer. It will help you read your body's fertility signs and explain to you how to pinpoint ovulation. I wish you the best of luck!

One thing you can do is chart your cycles. There is a free one at: http://www.fertilityfriend.com. Though I think it's only free for the first 30 days or so. They also have a forum on there where you can ask any questions that you may have about fertility. I never used the forum part, but the charting came in handy. It took me over 4 years to conceive my first and a little over 2 years to conceive my second. It took me another 5+ years to conceive again, but unfortunately I miscarried with this pregnancy. PS All of my pregnancies were conceived the good old fashioned way.
