What is the best and worst meals you have ever prepared ?

By worst I mean preparing a meal that didn’t turn out according to the recipe ,maybe the meal was supposed to be soft but it came out hard and vice versa or maybe it was supposed to be sweet but it came out salt ?Don’t be afraid to mention them, we have all had days when our cooking wasn’t what it was supposed to be ,its only natural, even the best chefs have those days. Sometimes its just a lapse in concentration is all you need and the perfect meal goes wrong.
Then there are days when everything is just perfect ,the right amount of ingredients in the correct proportions and everyone is licking their fingers .
Don’t be afraid to tell us of your exploits in the kitchen ,whether they be good or bad ,we would like to hear and who knows you may even be able to correct that meal that you have been messing up all this time or find that someone did even worst than you lol.

I had a disaster one day.While working at the old peoples home as a cook,I decided to make macaronni cheese the day the big wigs came to inspect the kitchen and home in general.This macoronni turned out like a paving slab,{it was not the only thing on the menu by the way}.This big wig asked me what it was ,I hit it with a metal spoon which bent .and asked him if he would like a taste,he did not want any ,I wonder why! me and my assistant nearly fell over laughing afterwards.The manager of the home was heard explaining that our cook is very good but a bit eccentric,and we don't like to upset her.

Hahaha what kind of macaronni did you use ,cement sticks lol.I make macaronni and cheese too but mine usually came out too soft.And an eccentric cook dont know if would want her making my food lolo,offcourse I wouldnt tell you that to your face based on your eccentricity lol

The best meal I have ever fix was hamburger, gravy and rice. I have yet to make a worse meal.

i used to cook at times when my mom was out...hmmm the recipes comesout well like my mom prepared one.my family members could eat...thanks to GOD...the best meal i ve prepared was pasta... all my friends and family members like t so much which was prepared by me..

the worst meal I've made is pasta and macaroni. macaroni was still better than pasta. i wonder how people eat past it sucks.the good one was a vegetable burger prepared by me.

I would have to say the worst meal I made was meat and potatoes. I have cooked it several times and it has come out perfect but one day I cooked it and I didn't strain the hamburger enough, it was a greasy mess when I was finished. Needless to say not a lot of it was eaten. :( I also had a bad episode with brownies once, I forgot they were in the oven and overcooked them, they came out hard as a rock.

the worse meal i recieved was when my mother in-law fixed a possam and had his leggs laying open with all the fixing she had sweet potatoes and spreaded all around this animal and it looked so nasty looking not to hurt her feeling i took it and trashed it i.ts funny now but not at the time.
