CHOK OH ELHAT meaning food for gods, in ancient Mayan language is the original name of Choclates, the mordern day name Chocolate is the phonetic corruption of this word.

Thnx for the info. I did know that the Mayans first developed chocolate from the cocoa beans and offered it as a food to the Gods. Some kind of Prasad for them!

Yes, coming to think of it, even ancient Mayans were offering sweet to Gods as Prasad.
