posting on mylot....same id.... different computers......possible??????????

i was just wondering ...... if i was working on mylot...posting responses and discussions from my laptop and on the other hand my boyfriend is on another system and on mylot doing the same things from his home and his own laptop...... is it possible.... ??????????? can this be done......?????????? or will it be wrong according to the guidelines of mylot??????? this question has always been on my mind.....

If you allow your boyfriend to use your username and post while you are doing the same thing, I don't think it would raise any flags although I am not too sure it is allowed. Why don't you ask him to sign up and post under his own user name? Cheers!!

hehehehe.... he aint interested.... this was my imagination where i decided to myself play a part ..... :P dint think of anyone else other than my bf cos im the only child :P he doesnt like mylot anyways and i think it would be better for me and him to sign up under his id itself and then post his own ideas whenever he wants however he wants

hey zukepr.... thanks for that info..... ill keep that in mind cos actually in reality there is no one in my family or close friends who have the time to get onto mylot and do what i do :P but that clears my doubt

If both of you are on different accounts, I don't see any violation of mylot rules. If, however, both of you are using one and the same account but on 2 different computers, that may be a violation of mylot rules.

yeah this was the answer i was looking for..... thats what even i thought that if at the same time two people are on the same id from different computer then that would be violation of the mylot rules.....

you mean you all use the same account? maybe you could try . but as i think this is possible.

well now that i know that it would be violating the rules of mylot my doubt is cleared..... i thought it was a good discussion cos it would get my doubt cleared as well as make a good discussion for others to view and learn something about mylot but i guess its not going all that good
