Hi all in mylot..I have a good collection of some Audio Cassettes and some 78 RPM Records. Now it is very difficult to find spares for the Record Player. Cassettes are also giving trouble. What can I do to preserve them? Any idea?

What you can do is, connect the output of your tape recorder/cassette player(headphone jack) to the computer's mic-in jack. Play the cassettes one by on e an simultaneously record them on your computer using a software. You can use Jet-Audio or Nero wave-editor to record the play back. You got what I said?

Best you can do to preserve the contents of the cassettes is to copy them to a CD.
