I have had so many people tell me that starving yourself will not help you lose weight faster because you is not giving your body any nurishment. So I do think starving yourself is dangerous and can lead to a lot of problems. I have just started drinking dieter's tea on Christmas day and I can tell a little difference.

Starving yourself is very dangerous and will result only in many more health problems. So please don't think of doing that. Regular exercise and a bit of diet conscious everyday will definitely work. I am also a mother of two kids and had gained lot of weight after my second child. I am telling you on my experience and if you are consistent and conscious it will work. It happens sometimes that we gain weight a little bit but its fine if you are fit and healthy. But one most important thing is that if you want to maintain and keep your weight up to a limit you will have to be regular. Try and stick to vegetarian and low fat diet, eat fruits and green salad and drink plenty of water and HAVE PATIENCE. It will take time but trust me it works.

for me starving yourself is never a good idea. my officemates are into this diet, don't know what its called - 7day diet i think. they follow a type of food per day, like fruits, veggies, etc. it also calls for onion soup. They don't starve themselves. instead they eat portions of food throughout the day, depending on what food you're supposed to eat for the day. It works for them. maybe you can try it too. you can search on the internet. goodluck!

Yes this is very bad for you. It makes your body go into starvation mode and it begins to burn your carbs not the fat that you want it to. You may lose a couple of pounds but in the end you will always gain it back or even more. This is a scary thing to do because its how many people become anorexic

Starving yourself is never ever a good idea, for any length of time. You will get dizzy and confused, just generally feel rotten and out of it. And like it was said above, it will really confuse your body and then everything will be upside down. I know it sucks, but after you have children the tummy you can't get rid of is possibly permanent. It's likely the loose skin, not fat. Short of surgery all you can do is eat right and exercise to feel your best.

Starving yourself, even for a few days is a bad idea and not a long term solution. The only way to permanment weight loss is regular exercise and healthy eating.

it might help but not much. once you start eating normally, that tummy is still going to come back. in actual fact, exercise is still the best way to rid of fats. being at the tummy, probably you're not doing the correct exercise to effectively work that part of the body. you might want to try doing sit ups or half crunches. these are suppose to help work the tummy portion.
