Scientist Waste A Lot Of Time

I feel like scientist waste a lot of time. Everyday I turn on the news, they're reporting some dumb study that scientists have proven that doesn't benefit us in anyway. People are dying from diseases like Cancer and HIV everyday, but they'd rather make studies for Viagra and ways to make yourself look younger than to find cures and save people's lives. It just makes me so mad.

Research is really a difficult job or all of us can do it. Many researches cost much time and money but no results. And there are many scientists want to find out something but they failed.
Scientist, what is the standard of scientist. I think many so-called scientists are not scientists, they are only research workers, but we like to call them scientist and they are happy to be called scientist. So do not depend on these research workers.

Not all my dear friend. There are still scientist that live their life by doing researches for the benefit of mankind.
But, yes, there are also scientists who are doing studies for benefit of some people. The reason for that may be because they get more money. Plus, with more human directing their life for unbenificial things (e.g want to look younger, want better performance in s*x), more and more scientists steer out their studies to meet those demands. Thus, less of them doing a real beneficial things.
