I swore when I got my little dogs they weren't going to sleep with me.lol I thought it would uncomfortable having them in bed with me not to mention the fear of rolling over on them. Now they do sleep with me! I'm a softy. Do you have pets that sleep with you?

Wrangler would love to sleep with me. If I don't keep the bedroom doors closed he sneaks in and takes a nap on my bed when I'm not looking. When I catch him, he's in trouble and he knows it. He slinks around and gives me that sad eyed look that is so funny it's hard to keep a straight face and scold him at the same time especially since it's my fault for leaving the door open. He has his own bed, he just likes mine better. He's a Great Dane / Boxer mix and way too big to share the bed with me. But the truth is, even if he were a little dog I wouldn't let him in bed with me. I have a chronic pain condition that makes me wake up too much as it is. I'd be too aware of his moving around and it would wake or keep me up.

They're cute and all dressed up too! They look like they'd be very good snugglers.

In my house you have no choice. we have dog and cat beds. They use them until you are sleep. Then they are found when you wake up.My dogs will pull the covers back and sneak in bed with you. you wake up with a dog that has pulled the covers over his ownself. My cat well she only sleeps in my bed. She cannot sleep if I am not there. Many times I have woke up to a cat on my head....lol

LOL...Nothing like a puffy cat on your face when you wake up. Mine are used to sleeping with me too. Mine like to get under the back of my neck or between my shoulder and head. Thanks for responding.

Both of my kitties sleep with me. Sometimes I wake up with one on one side and one on the other so that I can't even roll over!

I usually end up in bed way before my husband, and along with me is one of my cats, Mickey. I sleep on my side and she curls up by my belly. More than once when my husband comes to bed and attempts to put his arms around me, little jealous Mickey will either bite or slap at his hand! Well, she was there first after all.

I don't . I leave him outside my bedroom. Make him a warm soft hut. He wakes up so early.

People tell us all the time oh that is nasty you let the dogs sleep in the bed with you....YES! I do not because I have allergies but my cat lately will not stop getting in my bed when I am sleep. The dogs get in bed under the cover with my kids. I come in and my kids are arm over a dog sleep. I think if they have a close relationship with their pet so what. You are suppose to love your pet, why do you have it if your just going to keep it outside barking day and night. We keep lint roller makers and fabric softner companies in business. but my children are happy. All of our pets are rescues. I think that them sleeping with the kids give them a sense of security.

Heyya panzerswifey! I would say your right abut them being more secure. That's great you have rescue dogs. I have one myself. Dogs are paack animals so for their comfort they need to feel like part of the "pack". Sleeping with your children surely makes them very happy. As well as your children. I know what you mean about keeping those companies in business..I keep febreeze in business. Thanks for responding.

I never sleep with my pets because there isn't any room with both my husband and me in the bed. I've tried several times to allow my cat to crawl up in bed with us or even when my husband leaves for work, but she always keeps you awake, tapping on your head and nibbling at your feet or pulling on the blankets. I think its kind of cute sometimes. But maybe every once in awhile, I will let her nap with me in the middle of the day, when I'm taking a break from house work.

Moochie does not sleep with me in my bed but we sleep in the same room. I make sure that he's asleep before i go to bed. He's the type who can't be alone that's why i make my presence felt just to give him comfort. Back when he was still a pup, we used to sleep in the sofa because he's just too small to fit in. Now he's a big boy though he's still small hehe..

I used to bring my dogs with me to bed when they were still little. Now that they're all grown up, they go outside, roll in the mud, and do other despicable things. I bathe them regularly but I think they're just too dirty to bring to bed.
