What came first into existance on earth. HEN or the EGG?

hmmm... tough tough question. i'd go with the hen came first. because from the bible, God made animals. So i assume that he made the hens first. but there again it really is a lifecycle thing.

I would have to say that it was the hen. The Bible says that there were two of every kind of animal, not two of every egg. The Bible also says that Adam named the animals not the eggs.

Well actually, my science teacher told me that it began with the bacteria.. then the bacteria evolves. Well, it really depends on what you believe in literally, because it makes that much of a difference. If you believe in evolution, it started with the bacteria. If you believe in the religious theory, that means that you would think that the chicken came first.
