How many sms did you recieve on your cell whishing you merry christmas. / myLot

This year Christmas was somewhat lonely for me as i am away from home for some work and i don't have many friends here. I received few calls from friends wishing me merry christmas and only three cards (it means postal and not e-mail) but i received twenty one sms on my mobile wishing me merry Christmas and there were some friends who should have called me but instead send me messages on my cell. So, today its mobile age and am curious have many messages you have got in your sms inbox this christmas.

I didn't receive a lot. We mostly greet on Plurk (http://www.plurk.com/oyen) or on private messages. I think it's because SMS credit is quite expensive here in the Philippines. And although we have "promos" from our carriers that make SMS cheap, the services were mostly down during the peak holidays - I don't know if they're doing that on purpose or if I'm only being too cynical. Oh thanks for the response anyway here in India the smsing is not very expensive so most people prefer to use it. happy new year to you

I didn't receive that many :P I guess I received about 10-15, I didn't really count. But I don't mind. It's not like I actually send Christmas greetings LOL so you get what you give right? And besides, we usually send our greetings through Plurk : http://www.plurk.com/oyen or through group messages on chats :D or group emails! Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I actually only got one text message and not from any of the people I expected it to be from. And one card, which was homemade and nauseatingly adorable. And looked classier than some of the cards you can buy, which made it even worse.
