This is always a bitter sweet time of day for me every christmas. I am tired, dinner and gifts are done, dishes are finished. I had a wonderul day with my family and dear friends, I was happy to see them arrive, and even happier to see them go. Yet, I know in a few days, the tree comes down, the gifts put away, and back to the same ole same ole routine. I weclome it after the added stress of shoping, wraping, cooking extra goodies etc. but now that it is all done, I am sorta sad to see it go. I love this time of year, but I almost alway miss it when it's gone! anyone else?

I always welcome christmas and i love the holidays. Especially here in our country we celebrate it by eating dinner together (Noche Buena) as a family. We had so much fun with the games and laughter, and gifts and everything, so im sad when i remember that it is about to end (well actually while writing this, christmas has ended). But like you also said, cleaning up after the party is a hassle too. But i always remember the fun times and great feeling we get when it's the holidays soo, right noww im only happy christmas is over so that i can start waiting to celebrate the new year party. Cant wait for the countdown and fireworks! I hope you have a great holiday! from kukai http://kcatwoman.blogspot.com

I will be happy to see 2008 end when it is time, 5 days from now. I do need the next 5 days to finish painting in the basement a gift for the whole family. Christmas was a time of relaxing and getting together with family like usual. With all that as gone wrong with our economy in 2008 I'm glad to say bye bye. There was one good thing out of this years economy and it was the foreclosure sector. My brother was about to lose his house because he did'nt have a fixed rate and he no longer could pay his mortgage. Bad to good, Scary to greatful, happen when he got to refinance for a cheaper rate. I'm anticipating a new year it feels like a fresh start, you know the old adage what is your New Years Resolution. Mine is always learn. wahshe

Hi There! Yes, Even if there are lots of trials for this year, I am still happy and thankful for all the blessings he gave us. I am thankful for: Family – we are still complete and my relationships with my siblings are getting stronger even if we are getting busy because of work and schools. My mom’s health and mine is fine even if she is very tired because of work. I am still glad that we are still together. Friends – I am glad that I still have my old friends. I don’t know what I would be without them guiding me. Families are there to support you so is friends but it still different when you have old friends that stays by your side and never leaves you even when you are at worst. My Boyfriend – My “honey”. I don’t know the meaning of happiness until he came to my life *blush* I mean I am happy with all that stuff in my life but when he came to my life, it is different. I fell in love with a man… and until now, it is getting intense. Even if he is far away, I know he will come back soon. I love him. So, there… Yep… even if there are lots of problems, I am still happy because of the persons that surrounds me… ??? Happy Mylotting and Merry Christmas! Cheers!

Christmas for me has not even begun yet. For my grown children it has begun even earlier than this. But all my family has so many celebrations and work schedules that getting together with my immediate family, as well as getting together with my extended family, gets more difficult each year to plan. My immediate family will hopefully have our Christmas sometime next week. No, it is still not figured out when we can all be there. My extended family Christmas won't be until January 4th which is the time they set when they could all be there. We just join in if we can. So today, being Christmas, ends up being just another day to me in action. But in heart...this is always Christmas. I love the season and hate to see it end. I look forward with much anticipation every year for all of it. And I hate to see it go when it is over.

For me once the gifts are gone and the dinner eaten its over with. One year I even took the tree down that night. I just hate seeing a tree afterwards with no gifts - it seems lonely. Right now my tree is unlit in the corner. My guy wants to leave it up until New Years. I'm thinking its coming down Sunday. LOL I am glad to see the holiday overwith, this one has been a hard year and I'm ready for a new one.

I am used to seeing no gifts under the tree as we only put a few under til the kids are in bed. so the onyl time it is full is christms am. But I enjoy the tree so, and now that all the shopping is over and the presents are done. it is abit blue for me. I look forward to all the stuff again next year! Thanks for responding.
