Do you always cook a turkey for this holiday or do you do something different? I always do a turkey, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving in my house without it.

Last year, it as just myself and my fiance for Thanksgiving. We got turkey subs from our favorite deli and watched movies all day. It was a lot of fun and a lot less dishes. This year, I've decided that I want a more traditional dinner so we are going to get a turkey and all the fixings. My first Thanksgiving together, I broke the oven a week before Thanksgiving and we ended up cooking the turkey in the microwave. It actually turned out really good.

Wow, I have never had a turkey in the microwave, it is just nice to spend time together, that is really what it is all about anyway.

I completely agree. I live far away from my family and can't always get back to be with them for Thanksgiving. The day is definately about family and being thankful, though, and not all about the food.
