Did You Order Anything Online And It Didn't Make It In Time For Christmas?

I had ordered my 2 year old son a pair of Wiggles house slippers. I ordered them online on December 6. I thought I would receive them before Christmas but they didn't come in time. I was a little disappointed because I really wanted to see him open them on Christmas day. He loves The Wiggles. So, now I'm hoping that it gets here soon. Today, maybe? Well, I hope so. Did you order anything for someone for Christmas and it didn't arrive in time?

I rarely order online or via catalog for such reasons. And I'm too cheap to pay for shipping if I can find a similar item at one of the many local chain stores here.
But I will say I got the run around from a reputable online retailer about a shipping discount wich encouraged me to not want to shop online at all.
I hope your son gets his slippers soon. Could you save them for Valentines day? I know Easter is a bit too far off and perhaps too warm by you then to require slippers but just a thought.
