What does Santa eat at your house?

On Christmas Eve my kids got some carrots out of the fridge to put out for Santa's reindeer's, a mince pie for Santa and I insisted that Santa wanted a glass of Bailey's this year. In my family it would normally be sherry but I didn't want to get sherry in just for Santa this year so he had a Bailey's instead. When the kids were in bed I fed the carrots to the guinea pigs but left a bit as if a reindeer or two had, had a nibble, ate the mince pie leaving a few crumbs and drank the Bailey's, all for authenticity of course! What did Santa and his reindeer get to eat on Christmas Eve in your household?

I think that Santa should be given a bottle of whiksy instead of baileys. Since England is cold at the moment and he could do with a glass or two whisky.

thats quite cute and funny. when the kids were little it was milk an cookies. never thought to feed the reindeer. their grown now. i like what my one son is teaching his though. no santa talk goes on. xmas he asks them/or if you ask them what we are celebrating, they will say Jesus birth i think its pretty cool. they are 6 and 8 yrs. they look at it as birthday party gifts.i never thought of it when mine were little.

Hi there bunnybon7 I think that if I asked my kids what we were celebrating they would also say the birth of Jesus but if they were asked what happens on the 25th December they would say it was Christmas! Thanks for your response

On Christmas Eve we left Santa and his Reindeer cookies and milk. I left Santa and his Reindeer cookies and milk. Well your probably wondering what kind of cookies and milk. Always sugar cookies and white milk. My kids said Santa wouldn't come if we changed his cookies and milk. So how? Can you have a Santa and his Reindeer if you change his cookies and milk. I heard a new one this year Cheese and Coke. It sounds like Santa and the reindeer are getting a variety.

Back when I was a child I always used to leave santa mince pie and carrots for his reindeer, and a special potato for Rudolph! I never left him a drink, not that I was mean or anything but I didn't want Santa to be caught by the police for being drunk in charge of a sleigh and he had so much work to do I didn't want him to miss any children out because he was too tipsy to deliver or end up getting stuck in a chimney, the things we say when we are kids!

Hi ya wolfie34 Ho ho ho My kids didn't even think of that, maybe they think that the reindeer are in charge of the sleigh and not Santa! LOL Cheers wolfie

Santa got a home made mince pie and a carrot with a glass of sherry to wash it down with. As usual, he drank the sherry, had a mouthful of mince pie and took the carrot. He must have he best fed reindeer in the world!

Santa was getting to fat this year and told me he did not want any cookies and milk. LOL! So we just sprinkled cinnamon oatmeal in the yard for the reindeer.
