It is true but you have to know how to spend money wisely, many people waste their money and scams and other things that fail.

Only if you are trying to make money without working for it. I already had a computer and internet connection and even if I do zero work on the Internet I would still ahve the computer and connection for other uses; so, earning money writing on line only requires time - zero money. There are many ways to make money working that require no money just work - dog walking, baby sitting, etc; and even more if you use things that you already have (nothing new to buy) computer repair, laundry, mowing lawns, etc. My full time job doesn't really require me to spend money - the gas I spend going to and from work would be spent visiting people or shopping. I take my lunch with me and I would just eat it at home if I didn't work - no extra cost. Clothes for work - no special clothing required; I wear the same clothes for work that I would and do wear on my days off. So, I would say the only time you HAVE to spend money to make money is when you are trying to make money without working for it. Of course having the money to invest in a business for yourself does not mean you do NOT have to do some work too; but, if you have enough money to invest you can pay someone to do that work for you too.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean? The only money I've had to spend to make money is for work clothes, fuel to get to/from work and daycare... is that what you mean? I guess I see those as just normal expenses... If you're spending money in other ways to make money, I don't think it's a good idea!!
