Wheres my Dumpster Divers At? Trash Pickers? Fred Sanfords?

Do you stp along side of the road when you see stuff people are throwing out that might hav a use? Ever gone umpster divin behind store or businesses)My Father in law is 76 years old and has been doing what we lovingly call "The Fred Sanford" for 3o yearsormoe. He is a retred postal worker (no connction I think LOL) making tons of money scrapping what her finds on trash piles, and dumpster diving) He scraps cans and stips copper wire, and the like. h als fin useul household items, lamps tabl, dishes ec and sells them at flea markets. I once gt rall nice chest of drawers from a trach pile of a neighbor who was evited and they landlord tossed everything they left behind out on the trash pil.S anyonelse have his as a hobby or income?

I've been around people dumpster diving. My partner actually has done it quite often and has gotten some nice things like wire shelves and stuff and she's also gotten me things like a full board game, a over the door hanger to organize things and so much more. I wouldn't call it diving for income it's diving to save money and to find useful things we can use.
