HELLO This is a serious social issue. Rape is the most common crime that victimizes women. One can guess the intensity on mental trauma that a woman must undergo after facing such an incident. It makes the rest of her life crippled. I think exemplary death sentence to everyone who rapes a woman to stop the occurrence of further incidents like that. What is your view about it?

When a person, whether woman or man or child, is raped, more is torn from that person's life than most people can imagine. I was raped when I was nine years old, and I've been told by police and psychologists that my life is typical for a rape victim. I became painfully shy, thnking that if I couldn't be noticed, I couldn't be hurt. I thought I was a horrible person -- why else would that man want to hurt me? I feared all adults and pictured myself bleeding all over a vacant lot, bruised from head to toe, which is how the police found me. I was honestly ashamed to be alive, using up air that a worthwhile person needed. And those are just the less difficult things to discuss. A rape victim is murdered, and what's left is totally unacceptable. I was even sort of glad when I found out that cancer wouldn't allow me to have children because, as much as I wanted kids, they shouldn't be stuck with such a total waste for a mother. Should a rapist spend life in prison? Absolutely! Not only will that rapist probably re-offend, as that is part of the nature of the crime, but the victim will feel even more worthless because the government is officially saying this criminal wasn't such a bad guy after all. Maybe we could exile allrapists and pedophiles to an island somewhere where they have nobody to hurt but each other, which generally won't appeal to them at all!
