What a bummer - losing a loved one the day after Christmas

I am so sad today. I received a call from my brother
back home to tell me that my cousin was found dead in
his home this morning.
We can't go to the funeral, and I hate not being able
be there to do what I could to comfort his mom, who is
more like a sister to me.
Life is so precious, and so many of us take it for granted.
Hoping everyone has a good new year.

There is never a good time for anyone to die but after Christmas is really bad as Christmas is usually a time when families to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Consequently I know that loosing loved one in this time is extremely painful.
I suppose it becomes even more painful when you are deeply hurt and cant give consolation to other family members .
Ironically after my in depth analysis of the situation ,I am now at a loss for what to say to you ,as I believe nothing can make much of a difference. However for what its worth try to recall some of the good memories you had with your cousin and use this as a cushion for your hurting heart. It would be good too if you could remind others of the same thing.
CELEBRATE HIS LIFE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Thanks ronnyb, and others for your kind thoughts.
Say a prayer for Bonny, Mark's mom. She is not in
the best health, and she will be 80 the end of
March. I know this has to be awfully hard one her.
You never expect to bury a child or a grandchild
before you yourself pass on.
I will probably call her tommorrow or Sunday. Am
hoping I can keep my composure as we speak.
Thanks again for all of your kind thoughts,
and prayers for myself, Bonny, and the rest of
Mark's family.
