Is Pizza Hut thinking about their potential customers?

It is said KFC is conducting promotion activities to meet the current economy. I also read in newspapers that Pizza Huts are having difficulties, while noodle shops in prosper. My thinking is why Pizza Huts cannot adjust its customer positioning, so that they can be popular for more who love them, while keeping a positive revenue.
