Do You Think Twice Before Kissing Someone?

When I was much younger I used to wonder how actors could bear to kiss so many persons. I thought... My God...thats self violation...and I was sure I would only kiss the guy I loved who I figured would become my life partner. Needless to say that surely has not happened.
Since new years eve however I had reason to revisit my teenage notion. A friend was having an herpes outbreak and it was not very obvious (outbreaks are common at this time of the year) and more so at nights...I started thinking about him kissing someone and passing it on. I really hate the thought of that but in reality not many persons would admit having an outbreak inorder to protect someone else.
There is also the question of bad caries and an offensive oral health problem which one would not bring up before kissing someone. I'll admit I tend to do my own checks in my own way before things get that far but honestly though...

That's a very good question.You're right,most people would be too embarrassed to admit having a herpes outbreak and given that 'this the season for hugs and best wishes... Things might be bad for someone.
Bad breath and cavities are definitely a turn-off,I would have a hard time kissing someone with one of these problems. With so many solutions,even temporary,such as mouthwash and chewing gum,it's easy to impress people.
Even though your question made me think right now,can't say I ever thought hard before kissing someone,partly because I'm not a big fan of kissing and I don't kiss just anybody:)

Ah... I have been accused of being too sceptical sometimes but hey...I do think relationships call for a bit of that in the initial stages when your just getting to know this person. Always be true to yourself.
An established reltionship is safer but dating calls for one to be on their Ps & Qs. Thanks for sharing. lol

I will kiss members of my family everyone else gets a handshake. There are too many germs/bugs going around.

Nope if its my boyfriend i really dont think twice in kissing him. but if its just someone i know or for short a friend of mine i wont do it. ill think a couple of times before doing it lols.
