Yahoo! Music and other internet radio sites

I had a subscription to Yahoo! Music for their internet radio because there are no good radio stations here. They are all either 70's hard rock (which is okay for a while but not all the time) or rap/hip hop. There are no "CMJ" style stations so I got online and subscribed to the internet radio, hoping to hear new bands like the ones I listen to most of the time but instead of giving me new stuff it just overloaded me with the stuff I already had and could listen to without paying for it. Has anyone else had more success/better luck with their internet radio subscriptions? If so, which site do you use and how much do they charge?
