Please tell us..crafts give us so much joy, it is great to do something with your hands. I like knitting and crocheting, used to make winter hats and mittens and socks. Now the computer takes too much time. I have many half ready things waiting - just have to take some time for them.... what is your favorite crafts? Have you any half made knitted thins waiting in your drawer?? Or any other crafts??

Beads, cross stitch and needle point are my favs. I do crochet but it seems to bother my hands more than the other things.

I really enjoy knitting, but I like to embroider and do needlepoint, too. I spend too much time on the computer, too!

Yup, that is the problem for many in our days, but as you see from my comment above, you can be very creative on a computer too..

I have dabbled in to mos crafts, I used to get so involved in anything that seemed to be the going thing, but today since the computer i just don't have time for them anymore, but I have enjoyed learning all the different things and I guess today the only ones I do is my card making, but even them I make most on the computer then add just a little bit of glitter to give them a bit of sparkle.

Well, even a computer can be used for crafts. You can make great works of art with it. A friend of mine used a very advanced painting program - she had a pen like thing instead of mouse and could choose between lots of different means of painting - oil, water color and so on.. The paintings were actually hand made..

I do a lot of different crafts. And I always have a bunch of projects going at a time, I move from one to another as the mood strikes me. Fortunately I am blessed with a husband who does not mine the clutter, lolol, he always has several projects going at a time too. He fixes things, he is super mechanical. I do find that moving from one project to another, using different size needles or hooks, going to the sewing machine, all of this does help my hands stay limber. And when they do ache a bit I find doing a sinkfull of dishes in nice hot soapy water takes the ache right out. Happy crafting all.

I think your way to do the crafts makes it more interesting. B t w, I used to have aces in my wrists but got a lot better when I started using food supplements. Gnld.com has them - with a lots of science behind and have been around for 50 years. We can replace some nutrition that is difficult to find in the stores where we buy our food. I think crafts keep us alert and younger, we need to create things to feel good.. ......

Congrats! You know a lot of crafts and many ways to create - that is a great way to make us happy and many artists work with different things in different times. One good thing is that we can always keep learning if we want to..

I'm a "crafty" person. Lately I've been making a lot of jewelry with beads and wire. I also sew a little, make dream catchers, and do a lot of drawing.

I would say I like decorating, if it's a type of craft. I didn't know I like it until I started a small business for decorating LOL but I guess if I never try it I won't know

I love to knit. I am knitting my grandaughters coats. They are all grown girls so they take a bit of time to do. I finished one and she is wearing it - I am doing the second one but Christmas kind of slowed that down but I will be back to it in the next week. I can sit and knit for hours on end.

I love knitting too, it is one of the greatest things to relax and it is easy to take the knitting with you if you visit some friends. The largest thing I have knitted is a skirt, rather long and very wide. Took me many years, but I can use it now when I like.. You have to use real quality yarn with projects like that, it is a lot of work..but it is fun to create your own design...

I enjoy making jewelry, especially sea glass jewelry. Working with sea glass combines my passion of collecting sea glass with my craft of jewelry making. I also make jewelry with commercial glass beads (czech beads) and semi-precious stones, but it's the sea glass jewelry that is the most rewarding, as people seek me out to talk about sea glass with me at craft shows and online. Unfortunately, sea glass is slowly vanishing from our beaches and one day soon, it will be very rare to find.

I love crafting! I do cross-stitching, make jewelry & beadwork, crocheting, and I'm just beginning to get into candle-making. I don't know that I can pick just one to be my favorite, so I'll just list them all! I'm awful about finishing things, though. I get very excited about starting a new project and get about half-way through it before I start to get excited about another project, so I'll set aside the first one and begin another. I have several projects that are only half-way done. I have to force myself to finish them before beginning another.

You are a creative person, and donĀ“t worry about the half-way done crafts. I have lots too, and I guess most of them will be finished in time. Just see them as a part of your creative process... ...

I have tried cross stitch. My sister is very fascinated with it.Unfortunately, I got tired with it because at teh end of the day, my eyes hurts. But I found a new love, carpentry. maybe uncommon for a female, but I get excited with furnitures. I bought myself an electric jigsaw for ease.

Congratulations, you have found a craft that you can enjoy and I think many women would like to make furniture but it takes a long time to learn, I guess. Well - I prefer knitting and crocheting - less dangerous than handling a jigsaw.... Be careful with the saw!! And have fun..

I paint Christmas Ornaments (ceramic) and I also paint ceramic houses. I also make cookies, candy, fudge and bread. I put these items into gift baskets and give them out to family and friends. I am hoping to learn how to sew with a needle and thread so I can make felt ornaments.

I am sure your family and friends like home baked bread and cookies. Cheramic houses would be interesting, if you put a candle inside, it looks like there is light in the house.. Something for dark autumn evenings..

i used to do a fair amount of cross-stitch, but dont at all anymore. i can only work on it for about an hour then my hands start cramping up. i do really enjoy woodburning and glass etching. i have 1 unfinished woodburning left to do. i have drawn my design onto the wood but havent started any burning. just havent had the energy and interest to do any of it for months now. i actually got some more etching chemical and some more stencils, but ive etched every piece of "etchable" glass in the house LOL! guess i need to go check out the dollar store for some cheap things to start etching again!

I have seen crafts made by woodburning, but I am not sure I have seen glass etching been done. It would be interesting to see it one day. Maybe you find some glass ware in the recycle stores. I guess that is the cheapest and maybe the glasses are more interesting if you find some old models. Sounds like you should set up a gift store soon.....
