Is India a strong contender to win the Cricket world cup 2011?

India is going on the top of its game now and will soon be the champions who would put down Australia soon. So, is there any chance of India to make a history by wining the cricket world cup for the 2nd time ever.

when we consider the prsent scenario india having a great chance to win world cup 2011 but when we see the year of world cup it is quit a distance of 3 years to cover want to wait and see whether team india can maintain their form till 2011

India may be one of the strong contender to win the cricket worldcup 2011.In the present scenariop of the game indian team is palying well and the team combination is good.The bowling attack is good and the batting ,fielding are good .If team india paly's like this then definitely india can win the worldcup.

2011 WC is till quite far. We have togo step by step and consider about the next coming tournaments... See, how fast the cricket changes, in 2007 WC India were demolished by Bangladesh in the first round and Australia looked totally invincible but now within one year everything is changed, neither Australia is invincible now nor India having a bad run. So things change quickly and its silly to predict of 2011 now... But if you see the present performances, I have to admit India is somewhere competing for the top place in the World Cricket...

I think yes, If indian team would perfomed like this then the time is not so far when India will be the number one team. The young team India under the leadership of Mahendra singh dhoni is performing brilliant.

it seems that indians can win the world cup for the second time ever.indian cricket is on a high now and with australian domination ending it will be a good chance for the indian team.
