do you have a pair of Converse shoes?

I got a pair of converse shoes for Christmas. My boyfriend gave them to me, because I said I wanted a gift that would last. I found it really cool because for some reason I've always wanted a pair of Converse shoes. I know they're not the most comfortable brand (that's why I always tend to look at the Nike stores than Converse) but they just seem so..."common", like in the "everybody has to have jeans" sense.
