Who's your Hero or Shero?

I don't mean Wonder Woman or Superman, but who is the real hero or shero in your life? Who is that person that you look up to and that made a real difference in your life? Why does this person rank higher than everyone else? My shero from childhood until now is my mother. For me she is the epidemy of a emotionally strong woman. She taught me the lessons of life. She taught me to dream and how to capture the small beauties of life. She taught me how to find my passion and place in life. She in no small part, taught me to love unconditionally. She taught me respect, how to give and get it. She taught me that if I could dream it, and was prepared to work for it, that I could have it. From these lessons, I think my life is all that it is today. For that I am grateful. My mother is my shero!

I too would have to say my mother. She taught me so many things I don't even know where to begin. She gives so much of herself to everyone she meets and is way too nice for her own good. I think the only thing she was never able to teach me was her ability to take everyone's crap with a smile.

US Ex President Jimmy Carter, he may not have been a great President, but he overcame that failing and spent the rest of his life serving people who were in need. With Habitat for Humanity

Jimmy Carter is actually from my home state and he has done some wonderful things since he left office. Did he have an impact on your life personally?

i refuse to have a hero/shero.. as soon as you admire some one i usually can find their flaws or find out they were fake etc so as i like to say.. "to have a hero is to see flaws"
