I borrowed her title format for this little news event, but you'll understand why when you read it. This is a story about a cat named Voodoo who had NO fear of heights. Fortunately, he may have lived to regret that very lack of fear. (Yes - that's an awkward phrasing, but you'll soon understand that as well.) Check out this news article on Mr. Voodoo Washington. http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2008/12/24/34265_gold-coast-top-story.html Honestly, though, I'm not sure I'd have waited until the next morning for the answer, would you? I'm very happy the outcome was what it was, but why didn't they go looking anyway?? I think that, although these owners do love their furry little child, they don't take the necessary precautions to protect him as they didn't with his sibling. I hope now they do.

What an idiot that owner is! Crap! That was one lucky cat..THIS TIME...but if I lived in a high rise like that and had a balcony, I would place screening on the porch area so my furbabies would be safe from any potential harm. I have no real sympathy for an owner of a pet that doesn't take precautionary measures to keep their furbaby safe.

I couldn't have said it better, Pye. How could they NOT have known this would happen eventually? Annie

Thank God that poor kitty survived that awful fall but I can't understand why in the world the owners would ever have allowed him to get onto that balcony to begin with so he could fall! There's no way one of my furry family members would be allowed to be in harm's way like that under any circumstances! I can also guarantee you there's no way I'd have gone to bed without finding my baby, not if it took days. I sure hope these people realize they were given a rare second chance with their kitty and make sure to take better care of him from now on. Annie

My goodness. I hope they do take some precautions with Voodoo now. We can only hope that they do find a way to keep him safe from now on.

i can't believe that woman "slept on it". i would be hysterical if i thought my cat fell off the balcony. i would have kept him from going out there in the first place. one lucky cat.

Awww well thank goodness everything turned out ok for voodoo, WOW who knew that a cat could still land safely from that high up I dont think that lady should have allowed her cat to walk along that balcony knowing how high it was, shes lucky her cat didnt die but I guess it was just a mistake well like said at least there was a happy ending to this situation.
