the future of airport security?

Airport security screeners' focus is shifting towards studying passengers' intentions. Israeli companies have become leaders in developing security technology. Systems can detect signs of emotional strain, which may signal a passenger's intent. Other programs can study passengers' voice patterns for signs of stress. Do you think this will be effective? Or are we just asking for trouble? http://www.cnn.com/2008/TECH/12/02/airport.security/index.html

No I don't think it will be as effective as they think because alot of people are stress out when they are at the airport, especially when flights have been cancelled and other problems like arriving late or just had a fight with souse about something or another ...I think they should focus on other things because someone stress level isn't going to be good because now days everyone is under some type of strain or stress.

So if you are having a really bad day you get red flagged at airport security? I think it is just asking for trouble.

Just just think of having to deal with losing your luggage and being flagged at the airport as a could be terroist. Wouldn't make alot of people happy that is for sure. I would think that a airport would be a stressful place and that it would be hard to jusdge because of that.

I watch a tv programme NOTHING TO DECLARE about airport security on UK Living. Depsite all the gadgets that can be created, the human elemen remains important to detect potential suspects.

I think an approach incorporating both would be prudent.
