Eartha Kitt dies at the age of 81...

It seems like all the good ones are dying off nowdays. But the again I am really into the classic actors and actresses because they seemed to always focus on quality more so than most nowdays.
What I remember most of Eartha Kitt was the woman who made all women (girls and grown women) want to learn how to purr like a cat. And of course the sultry song that no one can top "Santa baby".
She also payed catwoman on the television series "Batman".
So do you remember Eartha Kitt? What comes to mind when you hear her name?

I was never really a fan of hers but you are right a lot of the old stars in movies and in music are leaving us, I guess when you get to a certain age and you see the people you sort of grew up thinking of them as big stars, they are getting to that age it makes you think about yourself a lot, it sort of makes you appreciate life a little more in a strange way.

Very true.
ANd I was not a huge fan of kitt's either, I just love to hear of people who live into the later years who really were something at any point in their life.

I do know who she was, although she was before my time its still nice to remember the ones that paved the way for others.
