I am a huge fan of horror, suspense, and thriller movies. I try to find the most interesting ones to watch that aren't just all gory. You know, there's actually a suspensful storyline. Any ideas?

I'm a huge fan of horror, too. So here's a few you might like that doesn't have that much gore in them. Also, I'm guessing by gore you mean red corn syrup spraying all over the place and animal intendtines, and all that, right? The Legend of Hell House, something about a house being haunted and all that. People spend the night there, some die, some survive. Pretty low tone, seems like it was made for TV. It is entertaining to watch to see why it's all happing, like a mystery. (A la scooby doo.) House on Sorority Row, I saw this movie a long time ago, it was made back in the 80's, with all that 'slasher' hype. It's also got that mystery tone to it, I was confused to who the killer was. I just found out that they're going to remake this movie next year. The ending of this movie is pretty good. Freaked me out as a kid, that's why I remember it! Talking about movies that freaked me out. Here's another one, Sleepaway Camp. It's cheesy, bad acting, but it is hard to figure out why the killings are going on. Yeah, it is another slasher film. There's no gore in this film, it's done on POV, but the ending is what threw me off. Any hoo, if you are into horror movies then you probably already seen these ones.

Thanks so much for sharing! I'm not a really avid horror fan in terms of watching the classics/older ones, but I'll definitely look into these the next time I'm on a movie run/arranging a horror binge with friends. ((I think I like the cheesy ones the best, just so that way I can puzzle over the 'who did it?' while being somewhat startled, while laughing at the absurdity. An example being the Scream films. They're so terrible, but that's what makes them good. (That may not make any sense.)))

I'm not a huge fan of horror. I say that to say I'm easily scared. But I love "scary" psychological movies. Carrie and Psycho creeped me out. But Hide and Seek with Robert DeNiro and Dakota Fanning gives me the greatest chills ever. And The Shining. Anyway, I'm no good at giving Horror flick suggestions (as you may see). I just wanted to give a suggestion. If you have a laptop to watch them on you should turn out all the lights and put headphones on, you know totally zone into the movie. I think it makes them 1,000 times better.
