and my car got stuck in a rut...and I was spinning out. Well it all happen because I stopped to talk to my dog who was relaxing on the railroad by my house. I cannot stand him hanging out there because I am so afraid he might get hit by a train so I overshot my drive and just as I was putting the car in reverse...I felt it sliding and sure enough my frame was resting on the concrete. I got out and called my dad and all I kept thinkin is how in the world am I gonna get this back on the drive. So as I am walking around the car I notice the back wheel is off the ground....I almost passed out. So here comes a neighbor who has a field by us and of course he made me laugh when he said "that's not a good place to park" and he pulled me out of the rut. How nice was that? Cause other wise I did not know what to do.. It made me believe that karma does exist....have you ever had something like this happen to you? And do you believe if you help others others will help you?

I just made a New Years eve post asking what was the silliest thing to happen to you in 2008. It was right after I was calling it a day while getting ready for my shower, realized I had been wearing my underwear backwards all day! Fortunately, I didn't need an assist from any of my neighbors. Cheers, Stan

I was mud dogging with my friend in his truck and we got it stuck and his older brother had to get us out, not fun, I don't think he ever lived that down. I think that we pass things on to other people, helping somebody shouldn't be conditional it should be natural.

Its good you have good neighbours in time of need, but I guess it is embarrassing when these things happen, I remember slipping down the steps of my yard and all i could think of is how stupid i looked and as the neighbours houses over look my yard I got up real quick hoping no-one saw me but if i had have needed help i know my neighbours would have been there for me, its a good thought.
