I'm not sure how many of you read the book even after seeing the movie. Don't get me wrong i love the movie and thought it as great, until i went and saw the movie.
I didn't even hear about the series until the movie was about to come out, once out me and my husband went to watch it and then since my birthday was the day after the opening he bought me the second book in the series i was unable to put it down once i started, then i read the third book eclipse and also couldn't put that down either how ever we got the first book after i read the third and i was dissapointed at the fact that the character they picked to play bella really didn't get the true asspect of her and instead of seeming clumsy seemed more like she was stuttering through out the movie. Now i like Kristen Stewart how ever i think she seems like a snob out in public and that the acting she did wasn't the best. I'm sure they wont pick another girl to play her as they shouldn't since they have already started but i would hope that the new director would be able to direct her better on how to betray bella. But it wasn't only this difference that made me dissapointed i also was a little miffed at the fact that they added things to the movie that weren't in the book like James, Victoria, and Laurent killing people didn't happen in the book but did in the movie. I was also dissapointed that the way bella and edwards love was betrayed in the book was so intense yet i didn't feel the actors actually grasped that conecept at all, I dearl hope that they are able to do a heck of a lot better in the next movie. what does everyone else think?

Film adaption often leave out a lot of the original plot because the story is too long to include everything in a 100 minute plus film. Are the books good, oun sound like you're enjoying them very much. I might try reading them sometime. I've watched the movie and I agree there's something lacking. Without the sound effects and very good music i think the movie would've flopped rather than rated average. Although i think the atmosphere the movie has created engages the audience. Overall, a popcorn required movie.

the books are wonderfull but after reading them and then watching the movie you can tell that the actors didn't read the books and don't understand the characters the way they should

i am quite disappointed with the film because they had deleted too many scenes ... like my favorite scenes and stuffs ... i was so excited with the adaptation because of the who will play the role questions i was running into but it ended up on disappointment ... i have read the whole twilight series over and over again and i loved it more than the adaptation ... i wish the new moon film will be more improved ...

i hope so as well. But if they keep the actors and don't make the actors read the books then i don't know that it will be any better
