Does that "you've got 1 message" advert irritate you?

It sure does me. I keep on thinking I've recieved a message from someone. Its misleading. I know we need the adverts on here to generate our bonus pennies to share between us all but this particular one does get my goat. Anyone else feel the same or am I getting hot under the coller for nothing?

That advert is ugly. And we all have our e-mail accounts, and if we are so keen to read our messages, we simply go to our emial accounts and log in there, right? Who made this silly advert of "You`ve got 1 message"?? And it goes around the web for such a long time, and cant seem to disappear so soon! I hate it. Seriously, I hate this advert very much.

you and me both, I really dislike adverts that are disguised as something else, like those "you've won" pop ups - you never have won anything - its usually a scam to sell something to you.

yes, not only is it annoying and misleading it makes the place look ugly and very unprofessional.
