My refrigerator makes a big bursting sound!

It's like the sound of acracker bursting. and it makes this absurd sound once every three ahours approximately. so what might be the problem.. any idea?

I dont think there is a problem with your fridge. I think its the thermostart that regulates the fridge that goes on and off. Even my fridge does that but i have never timed it. The thermostart makes such noise. But if it is not that then i think you should contact a fridge specialist to diagnose the problem. Good luck.
