Is it better to have a high level rating on your interests, or a low one?

What exactly does this mean? Is it better to have a low rating or a higher rating?

I'm not sure either, my rating just jump down from 8 to 6 and I know some one has give me a negative rating....but I don't care who does it. I believe that if one do such thing eventually will received identical reaction. Just let it be. BR.b
