I am so glad the Jets lost yesterday. I am from Ny, and I am not a big ny sports fan. But I do like seeing all the NY teams do well except for the Yankees, since I'm a red sox fan. But as far as the jets, they lost 4 out of their last 5 games to end the season. This coming after they beat at the time, the undefeated Tennessee Titans on the road. What a waste. I got to see Brett farve play alot of games here in NY, and I understand now why the football analysts call him a gun slinger. They say he throws fun balls up in the air for everyone. Not just his own recievers, but for the opposing deffense as well. One guy said Farve threw the ball so high in the air one game that he was waiting for the opposing team's cornerback to call for a fair catch LOL.
And then you have Mangini. I put money one these loosers to win last week in seattle. They make it all the way down to the 4 yard line on the opening drive and settle for a field goal. Mangini said he was anticipating a close game and went for the 3 points. The only 3 points they scored. Why doesn't his guy grow a heart and stop being so concervative. It's the 1st quarter. If you don't score the touchdown, that would've left the seahawks starting their opening drive in their own endzone. If Eric Mangini was anticipating this to be a close game, he doesn't sound very confident that his team was going to win. He's in a position to win his last few games to make the playoffs and he's anticipating a close game from the Seahawks. A loosing team without their starting quarterback. The jets didn't deserve to make the playoffs. And I'm glad they lost to the one guy that they got rid of in Chad Pennington, aka (Mr No Arm) LOL!

Funny how sportswriters referred to the EX-Jest...I'm sorry EX-JETS coach as "Mangenious". I wonder what they call him now since he got fired after 3 seasons. Better still, I wonder which team would offer him a job, as head coach, or coordinator?
Kudos to Mr Chad "I can't throw a deep ball" Pennington for beating his old team and sinking them to another loooong off-season. Wait, I hate Pennington, had the Jets won, the Pats would've made the playoffs :o) ...Cheers, and Happy New Year.

I needed them to win! I'm a Patriots fan and I needed them to beat Miami...oh well, we've always got next year!

I seen that they lost yesterday, and to their Old quarterback and did not make the playoffs, and I was wondering how could they end up loosing 2 weeks in a row, unless they did not really want to make it to the playoffs. I am from Seattle, and I was happy the Seahawks won, but if I would have bet on the Game, I would have bet on the Jets the type of yr. the Seahawks had. I am not sure if it was they got too confident with Favre as quarterback that they could make the playoffs or what, but in a way I know that Chad Pennington was probably elated when they helped knock out the Jets, not to say how Seneca Wallace felt with the win.

And today the coach is gone. I would guess that Favre will be gone as well so that leaves them with no coach and no quarterback. That should make a fun off-season. If the Patriots who won 11 games miss the playoffs the Jets deserve to miss them as well.
