I got my son a Wall-E sleeping bag as one of his Christmas presents. Since then he has decided that he needs to sleep in it on the floor every night. Any other time he would complain that he floor is too hard to sleep on. Do your kids have sleeping bags? Do they insist on sleeping in them on the floor in the house?

My son does not have a sleeping bag. I never really thought about getting him one. I am sure he would want to sleep in it if he did have one though.

My youngest son likes to sleep on the floor whenever he can. With or without a sleeping bag. He has a big comforter which he uses as both the mattress and cover when he lays on the floor. In the summer he just uses sheets. We only let him on the weekends. School nights have to be in the bed. Not sure what the excitement is about sleeping on the floor. It's a kid thing I think. As a kid I loved camping. But as I got older I noticed waking up the next morning steadily got worse and worse. Your body definitely can't handle the hard ground in an adult body as well as in a kids!

Oh sleeping bags, I remember them well! My sister used to have a Reese's Pieces Cup sleeping bag. She loved that thing. I think she had that until she moved out of my parent's house. I had a Hershey sleeping bag. Why we got candy sleeping bags I don't know. But I know we likes those things!

When my kids were younger we bought sleeping bags for the whole family because my ex also bought a tent and decided that camping would be fun. It was...but the kids liked the sleeping bags and they not only slept in them on the floor, they wanted to sleep in them on their beds! Considering that it was summer, they would get pretty toasty in those sleeping bags and, by morning, they were sprawled all over the top of them, but they were having fun, so I let them do it until they got bored with it.
