How do we earn reputation points on mylot

I am fairly new to maylot. However I have observed that a few members have a star next to their name and also reputation points. I want to know how to add/earn reputation. Also, does high reputation help us earn more on mylot? DO "Best Responses" help in getting high reputation and earnings?

First high reputation does not help with earnings. At least that is what i know of it. Also to build your reputation you have to start get discussions that is real interesting to others on here. They rate your discussion positive or negative and that builds your rep. I don't know if best response helps.

wow thanks for the clarifications I didn't really know about this either! All I know is a lot of my posts got deleted today and I lost about a 3rd of my newbie earnings! haha! Well i guess it was coz of my referral links...

Thanks for the response Jessi. Hmmm it would be nice to know how much a high reputation guy earns with an ordinary discussion compared to a newbie with a good discussion.
