Season 3 Finally Starts January 16 on NBC!!

Great news! FINALLY Friday Night Lights will be returning to NBC on January 16, which is earlier than I'd previously heard it would come back on. It's been playing on DirectTV since October under a deal reached with the latter and NBC so some of you here on myLot that are fans of FNL may have already seen some of the new episodes. I've read that the new season has been excellent so far and that it's gotten back to the type of show it was in the first season (which I didn't see all of) but I didn't read any of the episode summaries because I don't want to know in advance what's going to happen.
Are you excited this great show is finally returning? If you've been one of the lucky ones to have been watching on DirectTV I'd like to read your opinion about how it's been but PLEASE don't be a spoiler, at least without a fair warning!

This is great news, as and old football player I enjoyed Friday Night Lights very much and was very dissapointed when it was taken off of the NBC lineup. I hope it picks up where it left off, but it's ok if it doesn't, I'm just glad it is coming back. Thanks for the update annie.

I agree, I think they messed up when they left the original story line. Football is big here also. I was the starting QB my junior and senior year and was team captain my senior year, so the program was very interesting to me.
May I ask if you have made any money in this mylot program. I know you have posted a lot. I kinda got hooked on it during the election and primary campaign. It looks like it turned out the way we wanted. I haven't been on the political board for a few days and don't know what is going on there.

Cool, starting quarterback...did the ladies all love you, too? It seems the quarterbacks are always the hunks...lol!
I make payout every month here. It's not a fortune but it pays for my internet service. This month I'm a little over $20, some months I'm in the teens, it varies. Not as much is going on in the politics interest now but there's stuff about the Illinois Governor and still about Obama's birth certificate. Oh, and about Rick Warren giving the Inaugural invocation.

Strange you brought that up, I don't know about the "hunk" part but I did have a few temporary girl friends during those years. One was mad as hell when I told her the coach said I either had to choose football or her, I chose football. I married the High School Queen while I was in the service. She was a freshman when I was a senior (the prettiest girl in school)
