The never-ending question - What are you doing for NYE?

Well, I'm sure EVERYONE is asking, but I'm not. Well, other than asking MYSELF! We don't usually go anywhere for New Years Eve. There are too many crazy people out there and we really don't even stay up late (except me on the computer), and we really can't see spending that kinda money on one night. This year though, my friends are all going to the American Legion by where I used to live - I could walk there from my old house. It's not that far, like 10 minutes away. But I really don't know if I want to go OUT. It's really cheap to go - $25 per couple, you bring a dish, and the bar has "Happy Hour" prices, which for the Legion is like $1.50/drink. Quite a few of my friends will be going, but it doesn't even start until 9pm, and that's about the time my husband goes to bed. We both have to work New Years Eve, although I'll most likely get off early - around 1pm or so. We're still undecided, but I'm pretty sure we're going to be home, and I'll be here trying to get my payout (I'm pretty close).

We ordered pizza and are staying home. We usually do not go out because of the fog and the other drivers.

My husband was in bed way before midnight and I got to play on the computer all night. Normal for us :)

Even though my husband harldy uses the computer, he does have his own. I'm too impatient to do my playing around to even give up that little bit of time. His computer is the older one of course!

I am the only one who uses the computer, he does not use my computer. I do not have to share my new computer.

I hate new years eve haha. Mainly because I always have to work while everyone else gets to go out and have fun. Although tonight I am supposedly g0oing to get off work at 1030, then I THINK i am going to head on over to my friends house for a few. But I cannot stay out late tonight because I have to be back at work at 9 AM tomorrow. I just cannot win when it comes to new years

Hey reiny! I don't like to go out for NYE either! I never did. I don't like crowds and phony people pretending to be happy and all that other stuff! I much rather just stay at home and watch the celebrations on tv or not! Some years I purposely don't even turn the tv on! But this year I will watch it with my boyfriend because he will want to watch it. The say that the weather is going to be cold and we are going to get a few inches of snow tomorrow so I am just as happy to stay at home, do some work on the apartment and spend some time with my bf quietly flipping the channels like he always does and me getting annoyed and going to the computer to visit mylot! So if your going to be here I'll see you then! If not have a Happy New Year!

I'm sure I'll be here. I'm like you, not big on crowds and fakes! We've got a movie I want to watch and we might also watch Wild Hogs again too - I love that movie :) There have actually been MANY years I've rung in the new year on the internet with my friends :)
