Job in Afganistan. Do i have to go?

I would have to know what kind of position it is. By that I mean is it with the company you work for or is it contract work. Regardless of that the next question would be for how long. Is there a time frame or is it open ended? Now once you answer those questions for yourself you must evaluate does the extra compensation really make up for the potential danger. Where will the job be in Afghanistan? Can you research the safety of that place. Where will you quarter while there and how close to the work would it be. Does the company you will work for offer any form of protection while you work there? It is fairly reasonable to say that Pakistan would not be a good choice for you but not sure about Afghanistan. Some may think there is not much difference but I think for you there is. What it comes down to is you must decide for yourself the real benefit of this job and then factor in the rest. I cannot give you a first hand account as I have never been there. It is a country at war but clearly if there is a job for you to go to it is reasonable to assume that place is relatively stable.

deeply examine yourself. are you that interested to pursue the job? do you think that it is worth the risk of going to afghanistan in order to have a job that you love that much and pays this much? if you find that after a lot of deep thinking and soul searching, you are convinced that it is worth trying for some years, then go. if you do not find any liking for it, then stay put where you are now and be happy about your present job and earnings.

Wow, I think that opportunity is a great for you till you confused like this. But I think is better for you to stay at India because the Afganistan's conditions is worsted than we can imagine, especially on security. There's still have a conflict after what just happen there where Saddam was go down. The situation is unstable and insecure. Please you think it twice if you will go there.
