I am someone always thinking without ceasing and last day i thought that while i m thinking i usually fall into despair and my thinking becomes depressive.I can not leave depressive thoughts.Maybe it's my personal situation but especially i m alone i can't think any joyful thing. Maybe it's not always good to think with no results being taken.I gave up thinking for a while...

There are ways to turn your thinking around and make it work in your favor. May I suggest the books, CDs and DVDs of Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. Wayne Dyer? There are many others, but I've connected best with them. They've even done a couple of presentations together! Best luck for a joyous 2009.

Seyduna, I feel that your depression here is not literally due to your own thinkings. It is the lack of self control, positiveness, choice and discipline to avoid letting your thoughts wander aimlessly and getting out of control. A lot of times, you did not even know that you are overdoing it and hence monotony, dullness and depressing thoughts will simply get into your think frame. I am for thinking for if one does not then it is simply a life not worth living at all. "The trouble with most people is that they think with their hopes or fears or wishes rather than with their minds." says Will Durant. Cheers and all the best for Y2009.

You're not alone. Sometimes, I can't stand how my brain works. It isn't common for me to get a headache since I tend to think about matters too often. On the other hand, I try to think thoughts lying between optimism and realistic views instead of depressive thoughts that will most likely dig a deeper hole for me.

Like you I am always thinking. I cannot turn my mind off even for a few minutes. At times I notice that my thoughts are leading me into a depressive state and that is when I actively work at changing my train of thought to keep from going there.
